 Knebworth Parish Plan

Thank you to everyone who braved the rain and visited our tent at the Village Activity Afternoon on 13th August – we were surprisingly busy! The ‘Where in Knebworth Competition’ was very popular but interestingly no-one got all 24 answers correct. Winner of the childrens’ prize (a box of chocolates) was 11 year old Coral Little from Hitchin and the adult prize (another box of chocolates!) was won by Alison Allan from Knebworth.

Hopefully, all village organisations will by now have received an invite to the Community and Communication Focus Group Meeting on Tuesday 6th September at 8pm in the Committee Room (through the side door) at the Village Hall.

At this meeting we will be discussing ideas for improving communication and publicity for local events, recruiting new members to the many local groups and the possibility of setting up a new Village Forum to bring together local organisations and residents. The introduction of a village Welcome Pack is just one possible option to raise awareness within our village.

For further details on this meeting (or if you haven’t received an invite) call Denise Weaver on 01438 812553 (after 7pm)
