The Parish Plan is now in the ‘preparation’ phase and
the KPP Team are busy drafting the document and the Action Plan to
discuss with the Parish Council and the various authorities and
stakeholders. We will then be holding a series of meetings and drop-in
sessions to ensure that everyone who wants to will have the opportunity
to make comments before the plan is finally adopted.
December Parish News &
Community Directory
Following the special delivery of the December issue of Parish News to
all homes and businesses in the Parish, we understand that there has
been a positive response from new subscribers and we would like to
extend a warm welcome to any new readers. We hope that you all found the
updated Community Directory at the back of the magazine - more copies
are available from the library if needed.
New hope for Village Fete or
Festival
The Community Survey showed that many of you missed the village fete and
would like more organised events for the whole village. The Unity Focus
Group has managed to twist the arm of a brave volunteer and experienced
festival organiser to take the lead in setting up some sort of village
fete or festival weekend in the Summer provided enough people can be
found to help and the right venues are available. Even if it proves too
difficult to get things sorted in time for this year, we can always
start early for 2007! If you are interested in helping or think that

TeeNage LinK
Teenagers living in the Parish are welcome to join the first meeting of
the TeeNage LinK Action Group although numbers will be limited so
please book in advance - call Linda Brookes on 01438 812168 or
Stuart Biddle on 01438 237871 if you would like to attend. The aim of
this meeting will be to prioritise some of the many ideas that came out
of the October session and come up with an Action Plan to present to the
Parish Council and other youth service providers.
