Ladies........
Do you enjoy a challenge?
Can you spare a few hours each week during term time?
1st Knebworth Brownies are looking for two new leaders to share fun and
adventure with girls aged 7-10 years. Their current leaders are standing
down in July after 10 years.
As leaders you will organise the weekly meetings (Mondays 6.00 to
7.15pm) based on the Brownie program e.g. crafts, cooking, games,
community involvement, singing, outdoor activities, etc and attend
occasional District and Division Guiding events.
You should be enthusiastic, caring, cheerful, patient, encouraging and
well- organised!
To become a Brownie Guider you need to be over 18. Previous experience
in guiding/youth work is not necessary as full training (including first
aid) is provided. This is mainly done at weekly meetings and with the
support of a mentor and other Guiders in the Knebworth District. CRB
checks are carried out on all Guiding volunteers.
