Frustrated by having to go out of the village to bin those recyclable
cans? Despair no longer - North Herts. District Council have given
Knebworth new bottle banks and re-instated a can bank. North Herts.
District Council have been helping Knebworth in other ways, too.
Organisations have benefited from the small grant fund, the Southern
Rural for amounts of up to £1,000 in various ways which will benefit the
whole community.
The Bowls Club has received £1,000 towards a path for disabled
access;
The Parish Council have £500 towards the cost of microphones,
tables and chairs for the Village Hall;
The Parish Plan Team has received £1,000 towards the cost of
printing and distributing the plan;
Knebworth Scouts and Guides have received £763 towards the cost
of electrical upgrading at the Scout Hut.
