We will be working closely with the various Parish
Council committees over the next few weeks to finalise the Action Plan
and pull together the full Parish Plan document. Community members will
then be given an opportunity to comment on the draft.
We are hoping to have a stand at the Pre-Festival Mini
Fête on St Martin’s Green on Saturday 24th June so do come and see us -
we are always keen to hear the latest village news and views!
Inevitably, circumstance change and new challenges arise so it is
important that the Plan is flexible enough to respond to these changes.
Of course we will also be looking to recruit
volunteers to join the various Action Groups that will help put the plan
into practice – these will be launched in the autumn. If you would like
to register an interest, please call Linda Brookes on 01438 812168 or
email
brookesknebworth@talk21.com or come and chat to us on the 24th June.
Finally, we are pleased to report that representatives
of the TeeNage LinK group are busy helping with the Village Festival
arrangements and they have recruited some talented local teenagers to
take part in the music event at the Picnic in the Park on 1st July. They
have also been invited to meet with members of the Parish Council to
discuss their ideas and Wish List. Anyone interested in joining the
TeeNage LinK group should call Linda Brookes (01438 812168) or Jason
Reeves on 01438 226911.
