March 2005 NEWS UPDATE

Many thanks to Lord Cobbold for hosting our AGM and Sunday Lunch at Knebworth House again this year – a lovely venue and a delicious lunch both of which were much appreciated. Sadly we are losing four of our committee members: Viv Goddard, Alison Howse, Chris Ockendon and Murray Stewart. We thank them most sincerely for all they have done for KTA. We are delighted to welcome to the committee Alison Wormleighton, Maggie Greaves and Alan Bardett. Alan takes over from Robin Wordsworth as representative of the North Herts District Council. As a mark of our respect for Robin’s contribution to KTA and to our community in general, we have asked him to accept Honorary Membership of the Association.

Ensure that your Carriage conveys you to Woolmer Green Hall for 7.30pm, where a Delectable Alcoholic Beverage will await you. Feast upon Steak and Ale Pie with Hot Vegetables and Tickle those Taste Buds with a Delicious Traditional English Dessert.

Then settle back and delight at the Olde Tyme Music Hall, Unequivocal Entertainment brought to you by those Masters of Harmony and Mirth, the Lytton Players!
