KTA has involved many people over the past 16
years:
• members who have participated in exchange visits between Knebworth and
Châtelaillon-Plage
• local groups who have organised their own trips or sporting tournaments
with our Twin
Town in France, or danced at festivals there
• children like those at the Stepping Stone Nursery who have received a
grant for their
French class and those who took part in our Anglo-French art competition
• all who come to our social and fund-raising events – talks, dances,
quizzes, wine
tastings, plays, fashion shows, walks, trips, etc.
Many thanks to all of you who have given support in any
way.
A good opportunity to thank our members is at the
Sunday lunch and AGM to be held at 11.45 am on February 5th, at the
Knebworth House Garden Terrace Room. At the time of going to print, most
tickets have been sold already – a very encouraging sign that all is well!
Plans for 2006

will visit Knebworth
April 27th – May 1st. Knebworth Twinning members have been invited

gardens for many of his houses, including Knebworth House and Home Wood. She
created over 400 gardens in the UK, Europe and America and her influence on
garden design is pervasive to this day.
