Live Music in the Locals:
This Friday May 18 sees a somewhat unusual act in the Lytton Arms up in Old Knebworth. The Delta 'Ladies' are not all they appear to be. They entertain on fiddle and guitar with Country to Blue Grass AND Hendrix to Gershwin. Interesting.
Phase 2:
The following night, Saturday May 19th, it's the turn of the Robin Hood and Little John Pub in Rabley Heath. They invite you to an evening of live music, courtesy of Phase 2 who play music from the 1950s to the 2000s. I am not sure if Doris gets her oats (my age is showing).
Litter Picking Locals:
The Parish Council invite us to prepare for the Jubilee celebrations by picking litter around the village this Saturday May 19th. All more than welcome. Meet in the Village Hall car park at 9am. Litter-picking equipment will be supplied.
Coffee Cake and Chat:
Litter pickers can reward themselves for their hard work at the Knebworth Family of Churches Coffee morning on Saturday, in St. Martin's Parish Centre, St. Martin's Green, from 10am-12noon. Tea, home-made cakes and fairly traded goods will also be on offer and all proceeds go to the Knebworth Youth Project.
